Being Authentic is Personal Power
We’ve just finished the 2nd weekend of the Life-Skills University called Personal Power. It was a remarkable weekend, where, again, I could see how people can get into their own power and become authentic and real once you just give them the safe environment and the tools to let go of their image.
Personal Power means that you are able to come from your own inner power without any games or manipulations. Without the need of putting an act of who you are, or playing an image game, which takes you further away from your own source and your own being.
It was so beautiful to see some of the people, who were willing to just stand up and express their opinions, their beliefs and their truth - that was powerful. What was more astonishing were those people that were willing to let go of their opinions once they heard new ideas that sounded true for them in the moment.
Being in the moment is essential to being authentic. When you are authentic people can see your power and can relate to it. Miracles happen when people become authentic. It is as if the whole Universe conspires to come and help you to achieve whatever you need. Support comes from different directions (mostly from those places you do not expect it)
However, people are afraid of being authentic as they were conditioned to believe that something is wrong with them. Therefore when they want to achieve something they would rather use force than their own inner power that lies in them being authentic. People tend to confuse between power and force. They think that those people that use force are powerful.
Force always comes from a point of fear and weakness. When a person needs to use force, no matter how this force manifests itself, whether it’s violence, screaming, manipulations or just shutting off, ignoring or blaming and complaining or refusing to talk and walking away, it means that the person does not believe that they have the power to change anything. This is when the person prefers being right then being happy.
It sounds ridicules but most people would rather stay right in their decisions, acts, opinion and behaviors than become happy in their life and would have to admit that there might be another way of doing things or thinking differently. However, when you come from your own inner power you have no problem to express one opinion and defend it and in the next moment when you hear another and realize that it might be just as good as yours and most of all might support you better; they are willing to change their opinions and actions.
The whole weekend was an incredible opportunity to see how the human spirit is limitless and that we are powerful beyond any imagination. I felt grateful for those people that were taking the course for giving me the opportunity to see it taking place.
Today, have a look where you are coming from. Are you operating from trying to prove you are right or are you open to new things and willing to be authentic?
