Mother - Daughter Connections
I got a lot of responds on my last entry (Beauty or Wisdom). The funny thing was that most responds were about how did I feel when Thom told me that she is ashamed of me? The truth was that I was proud that she was willing to be honest with me and tell it to me.
I don’t remember ever telling my own mom that I’m ashamed or embarrassed of her. I was proud of my daughter being able to be aware of it and still be able to communicate it.
What is it about mothers and daughters that makes this tie so tight?
